EPA Clean School Bus Program 2024 Rebates

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering $965M for public school districts, public charter schools, Regional Education Service Agencies (RESAs), Joint Transportation Agencies (JTAs), tribes, and eligible third parties to deploy clean and zero-emission school buses and to purchase and install L2 and DC fast chargers through its Clean School Bus (CSB) Rebate Program 2024. EPA will provide reimbursement of up to $115,000 – $325,000 per bus-and-charger bundle, depending on applicant and bus type. Awards will be made by lottery and applications are due January 9, 2025.

National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program (NEVI)

The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding for EV charging infrastructure across 75,000 miles of highway across the country. Your organization must be within one mile of an established alternative fuel corridor to qualify and may need to meet other requirements as well.

Residential 30C Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Tax Credit, commonly referred to as the “30C tax credit,” gives qualifying individuals that install electric vehicle (EV) recharging property located within an eligible census tract a tax credit equal to 30% of the cost with a maximum amount of $1,000 per EV charging port. Tribal Transit Program

The U.S. Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has announced they are now accepting grant applications for funding consideration related to planning, capital improvements, and operating assistance for tribal transit services in rural areas with a population of less than 50,000. Federally recognized Indian tribes and Alaska Native Villages, groups, or communities identified by the U.S. Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian Affairs office may qualify for up to 100% funding, dependent on project type.

30C Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Tax Credit, commonly referred to as the “30C tax credit,” gives qualifying businesses that install electric vehicle (EV) recharging property located within an eligible census tract a tax credit of up to $100,000 per EV charging port. The credit, subject to depreciation, equals 6% of the total qualified costs per port, or 30% for businesses and tax-exempt entities that meet prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, with that same $100,000 limit. Alabama Power EV Home Charger Rebate

Alabama Power offers residential customers a $500 rebate for EV chargers installed at single-family homes. Customers may also take advantage of the EV Night Charging Discount program with discounted rates for charging from 9pm to 5am. A maximum of one rebate is allowed per customer account.

Alabama Power Rebate & Make Ready Program

Commercial customers may take advantage of Alabama Power’s Make Ready Program, allowing for costs associated with Level 2 or Direct Current (DC) Fast Charger installation to be rebated. If installing Level 2 charging with a minimum of four (4) ports, customers may receive up to $2,000 per port. For DC installations, customers may receive up to $20,000, dependent on the power output of the charger. Typical costs covered include underground electrical work, panel upgrades, site improvements needed for charging, and more. Applications will be accepted until funding has been exhausted.

Chugach Electric Association Residential EV Charging Program

Chugach Electric Association offers electric vehicle (EV) charging incentive programs to promote the use of EVs in Alaska. Chugach will provide a $200 credit, per Level 2 charger, at residential locations. No more than two credits per location (account number) will be distributed.

Chugach Electric Associations Commercial EV Charging Program

Chugach Electric Association is offering electric vehicle (EV) charging incentives to promote the use of EVs in Alaska. Current EV Incentive Programs offer a rebate via on-bill credit to commercial customers that install either Level 2 or DC Fast Charging equipment. Customers may apply for pre-approval for up to two rebates per billing account with proof of purchase and installation submitted after the charger(s) have been made operational.

Unisource Electric-Smart EV Charging Program

UniSource Energy Service’s Smart EV Charging Program offers rebates as well as technical support to commercial businesses, multi-family complexes and nonprofit customers that purchase and install EV charging ports at their location. Customers located in lower-income areas receive higher rebates for completed installations. Customers may expect to receive their rebate after the completion of the project.

UniSource Energy Services Home EV Charger Rebate

UniSource Electric residential customers who purchase a networked Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger may claim a rebate that covers 75% of the initial purchase cost, up to $500. The rebate will be issued as a credit on the customer’s UniSource account. A maximum of two incentives are allowed per premise for each charger purchased for home use.

SRP Home EV Charger Rebate

Salt River Project (SRP) Residential customers are eligible to receive a $250 instant rebate on a Level 2 Charger when purchased from the SRP Marketplace. Additionally, SRP offers a time-of-use electricity rate through their Electric Vehicle (EV) Price Plan for customers with a qualified plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles.

Tucson Electric Power (TEP) offers Home Electric Vehicle Chargers (EVC) rebates to residential customers. Customers may claim a rebate covering up to 75% of the cost of installing an EVC, up to $500. Rebates will be issued as a credit on a qualifying customer’s TEP account. .

TEP Smart EV Charging Program

Tucson Electric Power (TEP) is offering rebates for customers installing Level 2 EV charging at workplaces, multi-family dwellings, nonprofit locations and DC fast charging at retail and fleet locations through December 31, 2025. Customers must purchase and install a minimum of two Level 2 or DC fast charging ports.

SRP Electric Vehicle Charging & Fleet Program

Salt River Project (SRP) offers a variety of electrification incentives, including rebates for Level 2 and DC fast chargers. Customers may receive up to $4,000 per Level 2 charging port and/or up to $25,000 per DC fast charging station. The program concludes in July 2025, and customers are encouraged to install equipment and apply prior to April 30, 2025.

Arizona EV Incentive

SRP customers can get a $1,000 rebate when they purchase or lease an EV from a local dealership.

Arizona alternative fuel vehicles, including EVs are allowed to park without penalty in areas designated for carpool operators.

Salt River Project (SRP) is offering electrification rebates. Get a rebate of up to $500 per forklift for the purchase or lease of each additional electric forklift operated at an SRP-served facility, a rebate of up to $2,000 per eligible forklift, if the forklift replaces an internal-combustion-powered forklift. 

Entergy Arkansas Residential Program

Entergy Arkansas, through their eTech Program, offers residential customers an incentive of $250 for the purchase and installation of an Energy Star certified Level 2 EV charger. Customers may apply online and receive a check in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Entergy eTech Program (AR)

Entergy Arkansas Inc., through their eTech Program offers customers incentives for purchasing and installing EV charging infrastructure. Customers may receive up to $250 per Level 2 charging port and up to $1,500 per DC fast charging port. Customers may apply after installation has been completed and expect to receive their cash incentive in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Arkansas EV

Entergy eTech program offers cash incentives of up to $500 for electric forklifts and $150 for electric golf carts and other industrial EVs.

CA EVC-RAA 2024

The California Energy Commission (CEC) announces the availability of up to $59,484,345 in grant funds for projects that will improve the reliability of existing non-operational publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across California. The purpose of this solicitation is to repair, replace, and install at least 1,302 charging ports across the State. Funds available for this solicitation are only for ports listed on the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Final List and Final List Addendum of Non-Operational Chargers.

CRITICAL PATHS 2.0

The CA Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $30M for public and private entities to purchase and install DC fast chargers for the public use of MDHD vehicles through GFO-24-602 CRITICAL PATHS 2.0. CEC will provide reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible project costs, up to $10M per project. Applications will be evaluated competitively and are due January 15, 2025.

REACH 3.0

The California Energy Commission (CEC) is providing $19 million in grant funds for projects that will increase electric vehicle (EV) charging access for multifamily housing (MFH) residents as part of the Reliable, Equitable, and Accessible Charging for Multi-family Housing (REACH) 3.0 program. The solicitation also aims to enable greater EV adoption among MFH residents. MFH is defined as residential properties with multiple dwelling units and excludes single-family dwellings (detached), duplexes, triplexes, townhomes, and mobile homes. This is a competitive solicitation, open to all public and private entities including California Native American Tribes, and closes on January 22, 2025.

CCAPCD Carl Moyer Program 2025

CCAPCD, through their Carl Moyer Program Year 2025 provides grant funding for cleaner-than-required engines, equipment, and other sources of air pollution. Public and private entities are eligible to apply. Projects will be reimbursed up to 60% of eligible project costs, up to $100,000 per applicant. Applications for Level 2 and DC fast chargers will be evaluated based on cost-effectiveness and accepted until May 31, 2025.

Monterey Bay Zero-Emission School Bus Program

The Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) is offering funding for electric school buses and associated charging equipment for school districts, Offices of Education, public charter schools and Joint Powers Authority (JPA) organizations located within and serving Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties. Applicants must apply prior to purchases and may be eligible for up to $400,000 for qualified electric buses and up to $20,000 for vehicle chargers and installation. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are stackable with other incentive sources.

MVU 555 Electric Vehicle Incentive Program

Moreno Valley Public Utility residential customers that have recently purchased or leased an electric vehicle, or have purchased and installed a charging station are eligible to participate in the Electric Vehicle Incentive Program. Qualified applicants may apply to receive either or all of the following, a $500 rebate on an Electric Vehicle purchase/lease, $500 rebate on purchase and installation of a charging station, and/or $50 credit on their monthly electric utility bill. Customers must submit their applications within 90 days of purchase.

LADWP Residential EV Charger Rebate Program

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is offering their Residential Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Rebate to encourage residential customers to drive electric and support EV charging throughout the service territory. Customers may receive up to $1,250 to offset the cost of purchasing and installing a qualifying EV home charger. An additional rebate of $500 may be available to customers participating in income-qualifying programs. Peninsula Clean Energy: EV Ready Program

Peninsula Clean Energy’s EV Ready Program is a $28 million electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure program seeking to install 3,500 charging ports in San Mateo County over four years. Eligible commercial customers may be able to receive up to $90,000 for installing level 2 stations on their existing Multi-unit properties or employee parking lots. Publicly accessible non-residential sites may be eligible for up to $20,000 per property. For new construction sites, Multi-unit dwellings can receive up to $40,000 per property or $100,000 per Affordable Housing Multi-Unit Dwelling and Public Agency locations can get up to $250,000 per property.

Anaheim Public Utilities: Private Use EV Charger Rebate

Anaheim Public Utilities is offering rebates to business customers who install a networked Level 2 EV charger. Under this program, Anaheim will reimburse customers for out-of-pocket expenses up to $1,000 per charger, and the charging facility may be used for personal or business purposes without being made available to the public.

PG&E MF & Small Business EV Charging Program

PG&E’s Multifamily and Small Business EV Charger Program aims to install 2,000 Level 1 and Level 2 chargers at 450 Multifamily Properties, non-profit organizations and small businesses in their service territory. For customers taking advantage of the program in underserved locations, there is no cost to property owners and up to 2 years of networking and software fees may be covered. For customers not within an underserved community, a cost share will be required.

SMUD Commercial EV Program

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Commercial Electric Charger Incentive Program is accepting rebate applications for Level 2 and DC fast chargers on a first-come, first-served basis. SMUD is providing $1,500 per Level 2 EV charging port at workplace and multifamily locations with a maximum of 20 incentives per property. SMUD is offering an incentive of up to $100,000 for each DC fast charger project for specific customer types, consisting of at least two DC fast chargers and one Level 2 station.

Electrify Riverside

Riverside Public Utilities is offering a Public Access Electric Vehicle Charger rebate to commercial customers who install Level 2 (240-Volt) or higher plug-in electric vehicle (EV) chargers at locations accessible to patrons, multi-family dwelling residents, commuters, and visitors. Under this program, customers will be reimbursed for equipment expenses up to $5,000 per charging station for public access locations, or $10,000 for schools, qualified affordable housing development(s), or publicly accessible DC fast plug-in locations (maximum of 5 charging stations per location).

California Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $7M for military agencies with facilities in CA, and authorized private entities with active contracts to install EVSE for military agencies with facilities in CA, to purchase and install L2 and DC fast chargers through GFO-23-608 Military Electric Vehicle Chargers. CEC will provide reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible project costs, up to $1.5M, for military agencies, or up to 100%, up to $1.5M, for authorized private entities. Modesto Irrigation District (MID) offers commercial customers a rebate for installing qualified Level 2 chargers. Customers may receive up to $350 per charger and are limited to installing 6 ports at a single location.

City of Redding Commercial Electrification Rebates

The City of Redding is currently offering customers installing DC fast chargers a rebate of up to $6,000 per station. Customers may apply for rebates on up to five stations, every five years and could be eligible for an additional demand fee credit on their electric bill.

CARB/CEC ZESBI 2024

The CA Air Resources Board (CARB) and CA Energy Commission (CEC) are offering $500M for public school districts, public charter schools, JPAs, and COEs in CA to deploy electric school buses and to purchase and install Level 2 and DC fast chargers through the Zero Emission School Bus & Infrastructure (ZESBI) Program. CARB and CEC will provide reimbursement of up to $20,000 per Level 2 charger and up to $75,000 per DC charger, up to 100% of eligible costs. Applications will accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with applicants sorted into prioritization tiers, between May 14, 2024 and November 22, 2024.

The Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District (AVAQMD) is offering up to 70% reimbursement on the equipment costs and installation of EV charging stations. This opportunity is available for but not limited to LEED certified buildings, retail centers, centers of worship, hospitals and public transit areas (bus depots, train stations, park & rides). San Luis Obispo County: Alt Fuel Infrastructure Grant

San Luis Obispo Air Pollution Control District’s (SLO APCD) Alt Fuel and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program is offering funding for up to 50% of eligible costs of the infrastructure and installation, and up to 60% if the project is publicly accessible, subject to the maximum award amounts stipulated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Projects funded under the AB923 guidelines may be eligible for funding up to 65% of eligible costs (consult SLO APCD). El Dorado County: AQMD Infrastructure Project

The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District, along with State and Federal agencies, provides incentives and grants to help improve the air quality of El Dorado County. Approximately $50,000 is available for “charging station” projects in this round of proposals at up to $5,000 per charger (i.e., per individual EV connection). Matching funds must be provided in the form of grantee-provided electricity, designation of parking spaces, and availability to the public.

SMAQMD Community Air Quality Solicitation 2024

The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (SMAQMD) is offering at least $10M for public and private fleets to install Level 2 and DC fast chargers through the Community Air Quality Solicitation 2024. Publicly accessible charging projects are also considered under this program. SMAQMD will provide reimbursement of up to 50-100% of eligible project costs depending on project details. The California Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $50M for drayage fleets in CA to purchase and install Level 2 and DC fast chargers through the EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles: Drayage Set-Aside 2024. SMUD Charge@Home

SMUD residential customers may be eligible for a Charge@Home rebate for up to $750 towards the costs associated with purchasing and installing a Level 2 EV charger. Burbank residents may be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $1,500 for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charger. The program is open to all BWP residential customers, including tenants and residents of single and multi-family residences. Multi-Family building owners who install charging stations for their tenants need to apply for a Commercial EV Charging Station Rebate.

Colton Electric Utility Department Charger Rebate Application

The City of Lodi offers rebates for the installation and purchase of Level 2 electric vehicle chargers. Residential customers may receive between $500 and $750 for a Level 2 EV charger purchase, and between $500 and $750 for installation costs. Customers may also be eligible for a vehicle rebate.

Pasadena Water & Power Residential Charger Incentives

Residential electric customers are eligible for a $600 rebate when they install a qualifying EV charger at their home. Customers may also be eligible to receive a rebate for their Electric Vehicle. Once approved, Pasadena Water & Power will provide a rebate check within six to eight weeks.

Silicon Valley Power (SVP) offers a $500 rebate for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charging station to residential customers. An additional rebate of up to $2,000 may be available to residential customers to accommodate electrical panel upgrades.

Turlock Residential Charger Rebate Program

Turlock Irrigation District (TID) provides residential customers a rebate of up to $300 per installed charger. Customers enrolled in the CARES program are eligible for an additional $100/charger. A qualified plug-in electric vehicle must be registered at the address of the customer. Rebates are limited to two (2) residential charger rebates per customer account.

The Electrify Your Ride Program provides 3CE customers with a “one-stop-shop” for transportation electrification rebates and support. City of Healdsburg Residential EV Program and Rebates

The City of Healdsburg, CA allows residential customers to enroll in a time-of-use rate program to accommodate their electric vehicle (EV) charging habits through their EV Monthly Bill Discount Program. Customers may receive up to $16.40 per month, with low-income customers earning up to $32.80 per month.

PG&E Empower EV Program

PG&E allows residential customers who meet income requirements, the ability to enroll into their Empower EV Program. Through the program, PG&E will cover up to $2,000 in costs for electrical panel upgrades per single-family home. There is no cost to enroll and upgrades will be completed by the Program’s licensed electricians. Customers will automatically be enrolled in PG&E’s time-of-use rate plan and must remain on the rate for a minimum of six (6) billing cycles.

SCE Charge Ready Home Program

Alameda Municipal Power AMP is offering a rebate of up to $1,000 for the purchase of an all-electric used EV. For plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEVs), AMP offers rebates up to $500. Business customers who purchase new electric forklifts (class-1 or class-2) are also eligible for a rebate up to $2,000.

The Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District’s (AVAQMD) AFV Program offers rebates of up to $1,000 to residents toward the purchase or lease of a new AFV.

ZEVs are eligible for Clean Air Vehicle decals to access HOV lanes. The decals are subject to availability.

The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) offers $2,500 for the purchase or lease of new zero emission vehicles and $1,500 for plug-in hybrids. Zero-emission motorcycles may receive up to $900. Rebate eligibility is subject to income caps. Consumers with household incomes less than or equal to 300 percent of the federal poverty level are eligible for an increased rebate amount. 

The Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District’s 2020 DMV Grant Voucher Program offers up to $4,000 in the form of a voucher for the purchase of a new ZEV, PZEV, or SULEV, eligible lower-emitting vehicle. Applications are processed first-come first-served and vouchers issued accordingly until funds are exhausted.

The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is accepting applications for the Drive Clean! program which provides a $599 incentive to County residents for the purchase or lease of an Air Resources Board (ARB) Clean Vehicle Rebate Program eligible vehicle. 

Farmers Insurance provides a discount of up to 10% on all major insurance coverage for HEV and AFV owners. 

The Hybrid and Zero Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) Funding for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero Emission Vehicles will launch June 8, 2021. Rebates from $45,000 – $150,000 depending on weight class; plus an additional 10% for projects in disadvantaged communities, 15% for public transit agencies, or 65% for public schools are eligible on a first-come first-served basis.

The Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) is offering a rebate for EVs for residents of Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties that purchased an Electric vehicle. Starting July 1, 2021 you can receive a $1,500 rebate for new a EV, $1000 for a used EV, $750 for new PHEVs, $500 for a used PHEV, and $300 for new electric motorcycles. This program is first-come, first-served and lasts until program funds run out.

The Northern Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District (NSCAPCD) offers a rebate program for the purchase or lease of an eligible clean vehicle. Rebates include $3,000 for battery electric and $2,000 for plug-in hybrid. The District territory includes the northern and coastal regions of Sonoma County, including Healdsburg, Cloverdale, and Guerneville. 

The Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Clean Fuels Rebate program offers an $800 rebate for owning or leasing an eligible plug-in electric vehicle. This offering is only available to PG&E customers with an active residential electricity account.

Peninsula Clean Energy has increased their used EV rebate! From now until September 30, 2022, income-qualifying residents of San Mateo County and the City of Los Banos can now receive up to $6,000 for the purchase of a qualifying used EV. All residents, regardless of income, remain eligible for a rebate of up to $1,000. Residents must apply prior to purchase to be eligible for the rebate. 

Redding Electric Utility (REU) is offering a $1,000 account credit for the purchase or lease of a new qualified electric vehicle (up to 2). San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) is offering a $200 Electric Vehicle Climate Credit for driving a clean vehicle. SDG&E customers can apply for the bill credit each year that you drive or lease the clean vehicle.

The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Drive Clean Rebate offers a rebate to local residents and businesses for purchasing EVs. CO Energy Office Fleet-ZERO 2024 Fall

The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) is offering funding to purchase and install L2 and DC fast chargers for public and private fleets through its Fleet-ZERO Grant Program. CEO will provide reimbursements for up $3000-$7000 per L2 charger and between $5000-$11,000 and $50,000-$74,000 per DC charger, depending on power level, number of ports, and applicant type, with a cap of 80% reimbursement of eligible project costs for standard applicants and 90% for qualifying equity applicants. The Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP) dedicates $14,000,000 of funding from the Climate Mitigation Trust (CMT) to reduce the cost of purchasing and installing Level 2 EV charging stations. Approximately $3M for Workplace and Fleet applications is allocated through the MassEVIP CMT funding and aims to provide 60% of eligible costs for purchasing and installing EV charging stations. Grant applications are submitted online and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted.

Rebates for Massachusetts Home Charging

Eversource offers residential customers a rebate to offset the cost of installing an EV charger at their residence. Installation costs may include electrical upgrades, both customer and utility side, along with the cost for connecting the Level 2 EV charger. All eligible customers may receive a rebate between $700 and $1,400. Additional savings may be available for customers who are on the low income discount rate, or who live in an environmental justice community. Applications must be submitted no later than March 31, 2025 and the cost of the charger is not eligible for a rebate.

Eversource Massachusetts EV Charging Program

Eversource Massachusetts is offering businesses up to 100% off the wiring to install EV chargers, as well as a rebate of 50-100% off the chargers themselves. Customers with public vehicle fleets may also qualify for fleet advisory services to help strategically transition fleets to electric.

National Grid (MA) Public & Workplace EV Charging Program

National Grid in Massachusetts (Massachusetts Electric Co.) is covering 100% of the utility side of the make-ready and 100% of the average cost of the customer side of the make-ready up to $6,000 for L2 and $60,000 for DCFC. Offering up to 100% of EVSE incentives based on EJ criteria based on income. Incentives for DCFC in EJ communities is $40,000 per port for 50-150kW output and $80,000 for >150kW output. National Grid (MA) Multi-Unit Dwelling EV Charging Program

National Grid in Massachusetts administers their Multi-Unit Dwelling (MUD) EV Charging Program to help property owners and developers install EV charging stations at properties with 5 or more units. The program may provide up to 100% funding of the electrical infrastructure costs and additional rebates on charging station equipment costs. Customers with more than 20 units may also be eligible to participate in the MUD EV-Ready Site plan assessment.

Massachusetts EV Incentive

Green Energy Consumers Alliance Drive Green program provides discounts on qualified PEVs purchased or leased from participating dealerships. The discount program is available to all consumers, including those that are not in Mass Energy’s service territory. 

The MOR-EV program supports the purchase of qualifying battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and commercial vehicles up to a $50,000 final purchase price with a $2,500 rebate and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVS) with an all-electric range of 25 miles or greater with a final purchase price up to $50,000 are eligible for a $1,500 rebate. The program will last through at least December 31, 2021.

The MOR-EV Trucks program provides commercial fleets with rebates of $7,500-$15,000 for class 2b-3 zero-emission trucks, as well as vouchers between $30,000-$90,000 for class 4-8 zero-emission trucks. Scrappage is not a requirement under MOR-EV Trucks. Incentive amounts will decline by 15% once an incentive “block” is filled. BGE: Fleet Make Ready & Charging Rebate

BGE offers commercial customers a rebate for 50% of the purchase and installation cost of eligible L2 EV charging stations, up to $5,000 per port, and 50% of the purchase and installation cost of eligible DCFC stations, up to $15,000 per port. Rebate awards may not exceed $30,000 per site. Eligible commercial customers include multifamily properties, homeowner’s associations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and commercial fleets. A total of 700 rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Delmarva Power & Light: Fleet Program

Delmarva Power can cover 90% of the cost—up to a maximum of $15,000. Maryland Energy Administration EVSE Rebate Program for Residential Customers

The Maryland Energy Administration released funding for their FY25 EV Supply Equipment Rebate Program, which offers rebates to Marylanders to expand the state’s electric vehicle charging network. Total funding available through the program is $1.5M. Residential rebates cover up to 50% up to $700 for cost of an EV charger and installation costs for one charger per home. Homeowners, renters, and multifamily residents that purchase an EVSE for their personal use are eligible to submit a residential application. Only one rebate per individual resident. Taxes, shipping costs, and credit card payment convenience fees are ineligible expenses. Funding is Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available to complete and eligible applications. All funding must be expended by April 1, 2025.

MEA FY25 EVSE Rebate Program

The Maryland Energy Administration released funding for their FY25 EV Supply Equipment Rebate Program, which offers commercial EVSE charger rebates to Marylanders to expand the state’s electric vehicle charging network. Total funding available through the program is $1M. Commercial rebates cover up to 50% up to $5,000 for cost of a Level 2 EV charger and installation costs for charger. Eligible costs include site design, charger equipment, installation, labor, permitting, site preparation, upgrade for utility connections, signage, and equipment necessary to implement and operate the EVSE. Assure, taxes, shipping costs, and credit card payment convenience fees are ineligible expenses. Dual port chargers are considered a single unit by MEA. Maximum award per applicant is $125,000. Eligible applicants include businesses, LLCs, and incorporated non-profits registered and in good standing with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) as well as state and local government entities. Chargers must be located in non-residential places of business – MUDs are eligible if chargers are open to the public. Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available to complete and eligible applications. All funding must be expended by April 1, 2025. This is a reimbursement program, and rebate recipients must provide their own funding to cover expenses as they are incurred. Applications may be submitted within six (6) months of when an EVSE has been acquired, installed, put in operation, and paid in full. EVSE must be installed by a Maryland-licensed, professional electrical contractor. The Maryland rebate can be bundled with the federal tax rebate as well as any utility time of use rates.

The Baltimore Gas & Electric Co (BGE) Commercial Customer Charger Rebate dedicates funding to reduce the cost of purchasing and installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
