EPA Clean School Bus Program 2024 Rebates
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering $965M for public school districts, public charter schools, Regional Education Service Agencies (RESAs), Joint Transportation Agencies (JTAs), tribes, and eligible third parties to deploy clean and zero-emission school buses and to purchase and install L2 and DC fast chargers through its Clean School Bus (CSB) Rebate Program 2024. EPA will provide reimbursement of up to $115,000 – $325,000 per bus-and-charger bundle, depending on applicant and bus type. Awards will be made by lottery and applications are due January 9, 2025.
National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program (NEVI)
The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding for EV charging infrastructure across 75,000 miles of highway across the country. Your organization must be within one mile of an established alternative fuel corridor to qualify and may need to meet other requirements as well.
Residential 30C Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

Tribal Transit Program
The U.S. Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has announced they are now accepting grant applications for funding consideration related to planning, capital improvements, and operating assistance for tribal transit services in rural areas with a population of less than 50,000. Federally recognized Indian tribes and Alaska Native Villages, groups, or communities identified by the U.S. Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian Affairs office may qualify for up to 100% funding, dependent on project type.
30C Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

Alabama Power EV Home Charger Rebate
Alabama Power offers residential customers a $500 rebate for EV chargers installed at single-family homes. Customers may also take advantage of the EV Night Charging Discount program with discounted rates for charging from 9pm to 5am. A maximum of one rebate is allowed per customer account.
Alabama Power Rebate & Make Ready Program
Commercial customers may take advantage of Alabama Power’s Make Ready Program, allowing for costs associated with Level 2 or Direct Current (DC) Fast Charger installation to be rebated. If installing Level 2 charging with a minimum of four (4) ports, customers may receive up to $2,000 per port. For DC installations, customers may receive up to $20,000, dependent on the power output of the charger. Typical costs covered include underground electrical work, panel upgrades, site improvements needed for charging, and more. Applications will be accepted until funding has been exhausted.
Chugach Electric Association Residential EV Charging Program
Chugach Electric Association offers electric vehicle (EV) charging incentive programs to promote the use of EVs in Alaska. Chugach will provide a $200 credit, per Level 2 charger, at residential locations. No more than two credits per location (account number) will be distributed.
Chugach Electric Associations Commercial EV Charging Program
Chugach Electric Association is offering electric vehicle (EV) charging incentives to promote the use of EVs in Alaska. Current EV Incentive Programs offer a rebate via on-bill credit to commercial customers that install either Level 2 or DC Fast Charging equipment. Customers may apply for pre-approval for up to two rebates per billing account with proof of purchase and installation submitted after the charger(s) have been made operational.
Unisource Electric-Smart EV Charging Program
UniSource Energy Service’s Smart EV Charging Program offers rebates as well as technical support to commercial businesses, multi-family complexes and nonprofit customers that purchase and install EV charging ports at their location. Customers located in lower-income areas receive higher rebates for completed installations. Customers may expect to receive their rebate after the completion of the project.
UniSource Energy Services Home EV Charger Rebate
UniSource Electric residential customers who purchase a networked Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger may claim a rebate that covers 75% of the initial purchase cost, up to $500. The rebate will be issued as a credit on the customer’s UniSource account. A maximum of two incentives are allowed per premise for each charger purchased for home use.
SRP Home EV Charger Rebate
Salt River Project (SRP) Residential customers are eligible to receive a $250 instant rebate on a Level 2 Charger when purchased from the SRP Marketplace. Additionally, SRP offers a time-of-use electricity rate through their Electric Vehicle (EV) Price Plan for customers with a qualified plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
TEP Energize Your Ride
Tucson Electric Power (TEP) offers Home Electric Vehicle Chargers (EVC) rebates to residential customers. Customers may claim a rebate covering up to 75% of the cost of installing an EVC, up to $500. Rebates will be issued as a credit on a qualifying customer’s TEP account. .
TEP Smart EV Charging Program
Tucson Electric Power (TEP) is offering rebates for customers installing Level 2 EV charging at workplaces, multi-family dwellings, nonprofit locations and DC fast charging at retail and fleet locations through December 31, 2025. Customers must purchase and install a minimum of two Level 2 or DC fast charging ports.
SRP Electric Vehicle Charging & Fleet Program
Salt River Project (SRP) offers a variety of electrification incentives, including rebates for Level 2 and DC fast chargers. Customers may receive up to $4,000 per Level 2 charging port and/or up to $25,000 per DC fast charging station. The program concludes in July 2025, and customers are encouraged to install equipment and apply prior to April 30, 2025.
Arizona EV Incentive
- Arizona EVs are exempt from all emissions testing requirements in the state of Arizona. For more information contact the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality at 877.692.9227.
- Arizona EVs are charged a reduced vehicle license tax (VLT). The VLT is $4 per $100 of assessed valuation in the first year and depreciated in subsequent years.
- Arizona EVs with an alternative fuels vehicle license plate can use the HOV lanes at any time, regardless of the number of passengers.
SRP customers can get a $1,000 rebate when they purchase or lease an EV from a local dealership.
Salt River Project (SRP) is offering electrification rebates. Get a rebate of up to $500 per forklift for the purchase or lease of each additional electric forklift operated at an SRP-served facility, a rebate of up to $2,000 per eligible forklift, if the forklift replaces an internal-combustion-powered forklift.
Entergy Arkansas Residential Program
Entergy Arkansas, through their eTech Program, offers residential customers an incentive of $250 for the purchase and installation of an Energy Star certified Level 2 EV charger. Customers may apply online and receive a check in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
Entergy eTech Program (AR)
Entergy Arkansas Inc., through their eTech Program offers customers incentives for purchasing and installing EV charging infrastructure. Customers may receive up to $250 per Level 2 charging port and up to $1,500 per DC fast charging port. Customers may apply after installation has been completed and expect to receive their cash incentive in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Entergy eTech program offers cash incentives of up to $500 for electric forklifts and $150 for electric golf carts and other industrial EVs.
CA EVC-RAA 2024
The California Energy Commission (CEC) announces the availability of up to $59,484,345 in grant funds for projects that will improve the reliability of existing non-operational publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across California. The purpose of this solicitation is to repair, replace, and install at least 1,302 charging ports across the State. Funds available for this solicitation are only for ports listed on the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Final List and Final List Addendum of Non-Operational Chargers.
CRITICAL PATHS 2.0
The CA Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $30M for public and private entities to purchase and install DC fast chargers for the public use of MDHD vehicles through GFO-24-602 CRITICAL PATHS 2.0. CEC will provide reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible project costs, up to $10M per project. Applications will be evaluated competitively and are due January 15, 2025.
REACH 3.0
The California Energy Commission (CEC) is providing $19 million in grant funds for projects that will increase electric vehicle (EV) charging access for multifamily housing (MFH) residents as part of the Reliable, Equitable, and Accessible Charging for Multi-family Housing (REACH) 3.0 program. The solicitation also aims to enable greater EV adoption among MFH residents. MFH is defined as residential properties with multiple dwelling units and excludes single-family dwellings (detached), duplexes, triplexes, townhomes, and mobile homes. This is a competitive solicitation, open to all public and private entities including California Native American Tribes, and closes on January 22, 2025.
CCAPCD Carl Moyer Program 2025
CCAPCD, through their Carl Moyer Program Year 2025 provides grant funding for cleaner-than-required engines, equipment, and other sources of air pollution. Public and private entities are eligible to apply. Projects will be reimbursed up to 60% of eligible project costs, up to $100,000 per applicant. Applications for Level 2 and DC fast chargers will be evaluated based on cost-effectiveness and accepted until May 31, 2025.
Monterey Bay Zero-Emission School Bus Program
The Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) is offering funding for electric school buses and associated charging equipment for school districts, Offices of Education, public charter schools and Joint Powers Authority (JPA) organizations located within and serving Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties. Applicants must apply prior to purchases and may be eligible for up to $400,000 for qualified electric buses and up to $20,000 for vehicle chargers and installation. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are stackable with other incentive sources.
MVU 555 Electric Vehicle Incentive Program
Moreno Valley Public Utility residential customers that have recently purchased or leased an electric vehicle, or have purchased and installed a charging station are eligible to participate in the Electric Vehicle Incentive Program. Qualified applicants may apply to receive either or all of the following, a $500 rebate on an Electric Vehicle purchase/lease, $500 rebate on purchase and installation of a charging station, and/or $50 credit on their monthly electric utility bill. Customers must submit their applications within 90 days of purchase.
LADWP Residential EV Charger Rebate Program
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is offering their Residential Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Rebate to encourage residential customers to drive electric and support EV charging throughout the service territory. Customers may receive up to $1,250 to offset the cost of purchasing and installing a qualifying EV home charger. An additional rebate of $500 may be available to customers participating in income-qualifying programs. Customers receiving rebate(s) must submit their application within 12 months of the purchase date.
SCE Charge Ready: Transport Rebate
Southern California Edison’s (SCE’s) Charge Ready Transport (CRT) Program offers low-to no-cost electrical system upgrades to support the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment for qualifying vehicles. This program provides a unique opportunity for fleet operators choosing to acquire electric vehicles by providing support and reducing the costs with installing the necessary charging equipment.
Peninsula Clean Energy: EV Ready Program
Peninsula Clean Energy’s EV Ready Program is a $28 million electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure program seeking to install 3,500 charging ports in San Mateo County over four years. Eligible commercial customers may be able to receive up to $90,000 for installing level 2 stations on their existing Multi-unit properties or employee parking lots. Publicly accessible non-residential sites may be eligible for up to $20,000 per property. For new construction sites, Multi-unit dwellings can receive up to $40,000 per property or $100,000 per Affordable Housing Multi-Unit Dwelling and Public Agency locations can get up to $250,000 per property.
Anaheim Public Utilities: Private Use EV Charger Rebate
Anaheim Public Utilities is offering rebates to business customers who install a networked Level 2 EV charger. Under this program, Anaheim will reimburse customers for out-of-pocket expenses up to $1,000 per charger, and the charging facility may be used for personal or business purposes without being made available to the public.
PG&E MF & Small Business EV Charging Program
PG&E’s Multifamily and Small Business EV Charger Program aims to install 2,000 Level 1 and Level 2 chargers at 450 Multifamily Properties, non-profit organizations and small businesses in their service territory. For customers taking advantage of the program in underserved locations, there is no cost to property owners and up to 2 years of networking and software fees may be covered. For customers not within an underserved community, a cost share will be required.
SMUD Commercial EV Program
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Commercial Electric Charger Incentive Program is accepting rebate applications for Level 2 and DC fast chargers on a first-come, first-served basis. SMUD is providing $1,500 per Level 2 EV charging port at workplace and multifamily locations with a maximum of 20 incentives per property. SMUD is offering an incentive of up to $100,000 for each DC fast charger project for specific customer types, consisting of at least two DC fast chargers and one Level 2 station.
Electrify Riverside
Riverside Public Utilities is offering a Public Access Electric Vehicle Charger rebate to commercial customers who install Level 2 (240-Volt) or higher plug-in electric vehicle (EV) chargers at locations accessible to patrons, multi-family dwelling residents, commuters, and visitors. Under this program, customers will be reimbursed for equipment expenses up to $5,000 per charging station for public access locations, or $10,000 for schools, qualified affordable housing development(s), or publicly accessible DC fast plug-in locations (maximum of 5 charging stations per location).
CEC Military EV Chargers
California Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $7M for military agencies with facilities in CA, and authorized private entities with active contracts to install EVSE for military agencies with facilities in CA, to purchase and install L2 and DC fast chargers through GFO-23-608 Military Electric Vehicle Chargers. CEC will provide reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible project costs, up to $1.5M, for military agencies, or up to 100%, up to $1.5M, for authorized private entities. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis beginning June 17, 2024.
Modesto Irrigation District: Electric Vehicle Charger Program
Modesto Irrigation District (MID) offers commercial customers a rebate for installing qualified Level 2 chargers. Customers may receive up to $350 per charger and are limited to installing 6 ports at a single location.
City of Redding Commercial Electrification Rebates
The City of Redding is currently offering customers installing DC fast chargers a rebate of up to $6,000 per station. Customers may apply for rebates on up to five stations, every five years and could be eligible for an additional demand fee credit on their electric bill.
CARB/CEC ZESBI 2024
The CA Air Resources Board (CARB) and CA Energy Commission (CEC) are offering $500M for public school districts, public charter schools, JPAs, and COEs in CA to deploy electric school buses and to purchase and install Level 2 and DC fast chargers through the Zero Emission School Bus & Infrastructure (ZESBI) Program. CARB and CEC will provide reimbursement of up to $20,000 per Level 2 charger and up to $75,000 per DC charger, up to 100% of eligible costs. Applications will accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with applicants sorted into prioritization tiers, between May 14, 2024 and November 22, 2024.
Antelope Valley EVCS Grant Program
The Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District (AVAQMD) is offering up to 70% reimbursement on the equipment costs and installation of EV charging stations. This opportunity is available for but not limited to LEED certified buildings, retail centers, centers of worship, hospitals and public transit areas (bus depots, train stations, park & rides). The program is currently open and is first-come, first-served.
San Luis Obispo County: Alt Fuel Infrastructure Grant
San Luis Obispo Air Pollution Control District’s (SLO APCD) Alt Fuel and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program is offering funding for up to 50% of eligible costs of the infrastructure and installation, and up to 60% if the project is publicly accessible, subject to the maximum award amounts stipulated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Projects funded under the AB923 guidelines may be eligible for funding up to 65% of eligible costs (consult SLO APCD). Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are exhausted.
El Dorado County: AQMD Infrastructure Project
The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District, along with State and Federal agencies, provides incentives and grants to help improve the air quality of El Dorado County. Approximately $50,000 is available for “charging station” projects in this round of proposals at up to $5,000 per charger (i.e., per individual EV connection). Matching funds must be provided in the form of grantee-provided electricity, designation of parking spaces, and availability to the public.
SMAQMD Community Air Quality Solicitation 2024
The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (SMAQMD) is offering at least $10M for public and private fleets to install Level 2 and DC fast chargers through the Community Air Quality Solicitation 2024. Publicly accessible charging projects are also considered under this program. SMAQMD will provide reimbursement of up to 50-100% of eligible project costs depending on project details. Applications are being accepted now on a first-come, first-served basis.
Alameda AMP EV Program: Residential
Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is offering rebates for electric vehicle charging stations for residents that are AMP customers. Get up to an $800 AMP rebate on the purchase and/or installation of a new electric vehicle charger.
CEC EnergIIZE Drayage 2024
The California Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $50M for drayage fleets in CA to purchase and install Level 2 and DC fast chargers through the EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles: Drayage Set-Aside 2024. CEC will provide reimbursement of up to 75% of eligible project costs, up to $750,000, for standard applicants, or up to 90% of eligible project costs, up to $1M, for applicants meeting equity criteria and/or installing 10 or more ports. Applications are being accepted now until Q1 2025.
CEC EnergIIZE Transit 2024
The California Energy Commission (CEC) is offering $15M for transit fleets in CA to purchase and install Level 2 and DC fast chargers through the EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles: Transit Set-Aside 2024. CEC will provide reimbursement of up to 75% of eligible project costs, up to $500,000, for standard applicants, or up to 90% of eligible project costs, up to $750,000, for applicants meeting equity criteria. Applications are being accepted now until Q1 2025.
Trinity Public Utilities EV Charger Rebate
Trinity PUD offers residential customers an incentive of $500 per qualified Level 2 EV charger. The rebate will be issued as a credit on the customer’s electric account.
SMUD Charge@Home
SMUD residential customers may be eligible for a Charge@Home rebate for up to $750 towards the costs associated with purchasing and installing a Level 2 EV charger. Residential customers may also receive an EV rate credit of $0.015 on all electric usage between midnight and 6 a.m. after registering their EV with SMUD’s MyAccount.
Electrify Riverside Level 2 Residential Program
Electric vehicle drivers who install a Level 2 plug-in charger at their residence in the service territory of Riverside Public Utilities, on or after July 1, 2021, are eligible for up to a $500 rebate. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funding has been exhausted.
MID: Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate
Modesto Irrigation District (MID) offers residential customers rebates for purchasing and installing qualifying Level 2 EV chargers. Customers may receive up to $350 per charger installed, with a maximum of 2 rebates per service address.
Burbank W&P Residential EV Charging
Burbank residents may be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $1,500 for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charger. The program is open to all BWP residential customers, including tenants and residents of single and multi-family residences. Multi-Family building owners who install charging stations for their tenants need to apply for a Commercial EV Charging Station Rebate.
Colton Electric Utility Department Charger Rebate Application
Electric vehicle (EV) drivers who install a Level 2 EV charger at their residence, served by the Colton Electric Department, may be eligible for $500 rebate. Incentives are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and will be provided within six weeks of receiving a completed application.
City of Lodi Electric: EV Charger and Installation Rebates
The City of Lodi offers rebates for the installation and purchase of Level 2 electric vehicle chargers. Residential customers may receive between $500 and $750 for a Level 2 EV charger purchase, and between $500 and $750 for installation costs. Customers may also be eligible for a vehicle rebate.
Pasadena Water & Power Residential Charger Incentives
Residential electric customers are eligible for a $600 rebate when they install a qualifying EV charger at their home. Customers may also be eligible to receive a rebate for their Electric Vehicle. Once approved, Pasadena Water & Power will provide a rebate check within six to eight weeks.
Glendale Water & Power EV Programs
The Glendale Water & Power (GWP) Residential EV Charging Station Rebate Program provides rebates to residential customers who install an EV charging station at their home. Customers may receive $599 for a networked Level 2 chargers, and an additional $800 for an electric panel upgrade.
Liberty Drive – Residential EV Charger Program
Liberty Utilities Drive Program is intended to support residential EV charger installations by providing a rebate to customers for 100% of actual costs, up to $1,500. Customers receiving a rebate will be enrolled into an EV Time-of-Use rate offered by Liberty Utilities.

Silicon Valley Power (SVP) offers a $500 rebate for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charging station to residential customers. An additional rebate of up to $2,000 may be available to residential customers to accommodate electrical panel upgrades.
Turlock Residential Charger Rebate Program
Turlock Irrigation District (TID) provides residential customers a rebate of up to $300 per installed charger. Customers enrolled in the CARES program are eligible for an additional $100/charger. A qualified plug-in electric vehicle must be registered at the address of the customer. Rebates are limited to two (2) residential charger rebates per customer account.
3CE Electrify Your Ride for Residential
The Electrify Your Ride Program provides 3CE customers with a “one-stop-shop” for transportation electrification rebates and support. Rebates are available for electric vehicles, chargers, and EV readiness (electrical work related to charger installation). Customers installing a Level 2 EV charger at their residential address may receive up to $700, depending on income levels.
Ukiah Hardwired L2 EV Charger Rebate
The City of Ukiah is offering residential customers a rebate of 100%, up to $2,000, for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charger at their place of residence. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and its recommended they be submitted within six month of the purchase and installation date.
RCMU Residential EV Charger Rebate
Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility (RCMU) offers residential customers up to $500 for installing a Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger at their residence. Pre-approval is not required and customers can submit their application after installation has been completed, through June 30, 2025.
Charge Up! Program
The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Charge Up! Program is accepting applications for grants offering 50-100% of eligible project costs for applicants meeting the criteria. Up to $796,000 in funding is available. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
APU Private Use EV Charger Rebate
Anaheim Public Utilities (APU) is offering rebates to residential customers who install a Level 2 (240-Volt) plug-in Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger. Under this program, APU will reimburse customers for out-of-pocket expenses up to $1,000 when electing to participate in a time-based rate.
City of Healdsburg Residential EV Program and Rebates
The City of Healdsburg, CA allows residential customers to enroll in a time-of-use rate program to accommodate their electric vehicle (EV) charging habits through their EV Monthly Bill Discount Program. Customers may receive up to $16.40 per month, with low-income customers earning up to $32.80 per month.
PG&E Empower EV Program
PG&E allows residential customers who meet income requirements, the ability to enroll into their Empower EV Program. Through the program, PG&E will cover up to $2,000 in costs for electrical panel upgrades per single-family home. There is no cost to enroll and upgrades will be completed by the Program’s licensed electricians. Customers will automatically be enrolled in PG&E’s time-of-use rate plan and must remain on the rate for a minimum of six (6) billing cycles.
SCE Charge Ready Home Program
Southern California Edison (SCE) administers their Charge Ready Home Program to assist low-income residential customers with upgrading EV charging capacity at home. Customers may qualify for up to $4,200 in rebates if a Level 2 EV charger is installed within 120 days of purchasing or leasing an EV.
City of Burbank Charging Station Rebate
Burbank Water and Power businesses can lead the charge with BWP’s new Commercial Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate Program up to $15,000 per charging station to give their customers and employees the charge they need to get where they are going. Rebates offset some of the costs of purchasing and installing EV charging stations for your business.
Colton Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate
The City of Colton’s Electric Department is offering rebates for Level 2 EV charger installations. Commercial applicants can receive up to $5,000 when they install an approved electric vehicle (EV) charger with a separate utility meter or $2,500 when they install a standard “dumb charger” connection.
City of Healdsburg EV Charger Energy Rebate
The City of Healdsburg, California provides commercial and multi-family customers who install Level 2 charging a rebate in the amount of up to $5,000 per port. Rebates may not exceed 50% of the installed cost and customers may install up to 10 ports per location.

The City of Lodi Electric Utility Department offers customers both installation and equipment rebates for Level 2 and DC fast chargers installed at commercial and multi-family locations. Rebates may be up to $6,000 total for Level 2 installations and up to $8,000 for DC fast charging installations. An additional rebate is available from the city for customers who purchase a commercial zero emission vehicle.
Palo Alto: EV Charger Rebate Program
The City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU) is offering Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger rebates for schools, non-profits, and multifamily properties. The Pasadena Water & Power’s Commercial Charger Incentive Program offers $3,000 rebate for installation of smart Level 2 (240V) charging stations for commercial, workplace, MUD, and fleet customers. Rebates of up to $6,000 per charger are available at specific sites including publicly accessible, schools, affordable housing, and DAC.
Glendale W&P: Charging Station Rebate
The Glendale Water & Power EV Rebate Program offers rebates to commercial and multi-family building customers installing Level 2 or DCFC EV charging stations at their property. Base rebates are up to $50,000 or 50% of the total project cost, whichever is lower. Customers who meet eligible criteria such as being located at a non-profit or in a disadvantaged or low-income community may be eligible for up to $75,000 or 75% of total project cost.
Silicon Valley Power Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate
Silicon Valley Power provides a rebate of $550 for home, $7500 per port up to $90,000 per property for Level 2 when you install an electric vehicle charging station. This program offers EV charging station rebates for home, multifamily housing, schools, and non-profit facilities. There is an additional grant available to multi-family housing units that provide below market rental units.
Liberty Drive Program
The Liberty Utilities Drive Program rebate budget of $1,750,000 is allocated between Residential and Small Business customers and available on a first-come, first-served basis until the rebate budget has been paid and/or fully reserved. The rebate may pay up to $2,500 of eligible costs to install the charger at commercial sites. Eligible costs include charging equipment, installation labor, permitting, design, and any required upgrades to the existing electrical system necessary for the installation of the electric vehicle charger. This includes costs for Small Business applicants to establish a separate commercial electrical service, if necessary.

Southern California Edison’s (SCE) Charge Ready Program offers rebates for qualified EV charging equipment, and provides make-ready at the site for the equipment. The rebate program offers participants a fixed rebate of up to $10,000 per port to help offset the costs associated with purchasing and installing up to four (4) SCE-approved Level 2 charging ports.
MCE Clean Energy – EV & Charging
Marin Clean Energy (MCE) Charging Station Program offers rebates for Level 2 charging stations for workplaces and multifamily properties (market rate and low income with 4 or more units) of up to $3,000 per Level 2 (L2) charging port for 2-20 ports per site. Additional $500 per charging port with Deep Green 100% renewable energy.
Alameda AMP EV Program: L2 Multifamily
Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is offering rebates to Multi-Family Building customers who purchase and install Level 2 EV charging stations at their service address. The rebate offers up to $8,000 for each Level 2 charging station (up to 6), which can be used towards the cost the charging stations, installation, and permitting. There is a pre-qualification process required through an AMP EV Advisor.
Alameda AMP EV Program: L2 Commercial
Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is offering rebates to Commercial customers who purchase and install Level 2 EV charging stations at their non-residential service address. This rebate offers up to $6,000 for each Level 2 charging station (up to 6), which can be used towards the cost the charging stations, installation, and permitting. Eligible customers include commercial and non-profit organizations, schools, churches, government entities, and AMP customers in the A1, A2, A3, M1, or M3 rate categories. There is a pre-qualification process required through an AMP EV Advisor.
PG&E EV Fleet Program
PG&E’s EV Fleet program supports level 2 and DC fast chargers in a variety of installation configurations based on a fleet operator’s needs. Eligible customers may be able to receive 50% of the cost of an eligible charging station up to $42,000. They also offer incentives to build out the necessary infrastructure to convert to an electric fleet with rebates ranging from $4,000 up to $9,000 for eligible vehicles.
RCMU EV Charger Rebate
Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility (RCMU) offers commercial customers up to $5,000 for a dual-port Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charger and/or $5,000 for a DC fast charger installation. Pre-approval is not required and customers can submit their application after installation has been completed, through June 30, 2025.
Trinity County PUD: Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate
Trinity PUD now offers a rebate for the installation of new Electric Vehicle Chargers. Trinity PUD is offering an incentive in the form of a credit on your device electric account of $500.00 per qualified Level 2 charger. Customers must submit their application within six months of installation and agree to participate in a managed charging program.
SDG&E Power Your Drive for Fleets
SDG&E Power Your Drive Fleets rebates are $3,000 per charger up to 19.2kW, $15,000 per charger from 19.3kW to 50kW, $45,000 per charger form 50.1kW to 150kW and $75,000 per charger over 150kW. Transit agencies, school districts, and fleets located in disadvantaged communities that are not Fortune 1000 companies are eligible for an additional rebate of up to 50% of the costs to purchase charging stations. There are 2 infrastructure installation options: SDG&E owned, no installation cost or customer owned, rebates to reduce installation costs.
Turlock Commercial Electric Vehicle Charger Program
The Turlock Irrigation District provides commercial customers incentives for the installation of EV charging equipment. Customers may receive rebates for both infrastructure upgrades, up to $15,000 per site, along with a Level 2 charger rebate of up to $1,000 per charger. Customers may also receive between $10,000 and $20,000 for installation of a publicly accessible DC fast charger. The program is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to modification at any time.
3CE Electrify Your Ride Program (SCE/PGE Adder Program)
Commercial customers enrolled in 3CE service related to a commercial, agricultural, non-profit, multi-family housing, or industrial entity as well as public agencies are eligible to apply for the Electrify Your Ride Program. Commercial property owners can apply for up to five EV Incentives, and up to three Project Sites for EV Chargers and EV Readiness incentives.
California EV Incentive
The Southern California Edison (SCE) Clean Fuels Rewards program offers a $1000 rebate for driving a new, used, or leased electric vehicle (battery electric or plug-in hybrid). This offering is only available to SCE customers with an active residential electricity account. If you have multiple eligible EVs in your household, you may receive a rebate for each vehicle if you otherwise qualify.
Alameda Municipal Power AMP is offering a rebate of up to $1,000 for the purchase of an all-electric used EV. For plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEVs), AMP offers rebates up to $500. Business customers who purchase new electric forklifts (class-1 or class-2) are also eligible for a rebate up to $2,000.
The Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District’s (AVAQMD) AFV Program offers rebates of up to $1,000 to residents toward the purchase or lease of a new AFV.
ZEVs are eligible for Clean Air Vehicle decals to access HOV lanes. The decals are subject to availability.
The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) offers $2,500 for the purchase or lease of new zero emission vehicles and $1,500 for plug-in hybrids. Zero-emission motorcycles may receive up to $900. Rebate eligibility is subject to income caps. Consumers with household incomes less than or equal to 300 percent of the federal poverty level are eligible for an increased rebate amount.
The Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District’s 2020 DMV Grant Voucher Program offers up to $4,000 in the form of a voucher for the purchase of a new ZEV, PZEV, or SULEV, eligible lower-emitting vehicle. Applications are processed first-come first-served and vouchers issued accordingly until funds are exhausted.
The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is accepting applications for the Drive Clean! program which provides a $599 incentive to County residents for the purchase or lease of an Air Resources Board (ARB) Clean Vehicle Rebate Program eligible vehicle.
Farmers Insurance provides a discount of up to 10% on all major insurance coverage for HEV and AFV owners.
The Hybrid and Zero Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) Funding for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero Emission Vehicles will launch June 8, 2021. Rebates from $45,000 – $150,000 depending on weight class; plus an additional 10% for projects in disadvantaged communities, 15% for public transit agencies, or 65% for public schools are eligible on a first-come first-served basis.
The Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) is offering a rebate for EVs for residents of Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties that purchased an Electric vehicle. Starting July 1, 2021 you can receive a $1,500 rebate for new a EV, $1000 for a used EV, $750 for new PHEVs, $500 for a used PHEV, and $300 for new electric motorcycles. This program is first-come, first-served and lasts until program funds run out.
The Northern Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District (NSCAPCD) offers a rebate program for the purchase or lease of an eligible clean vehicle. Rebates include $3,000 for battery electric and $2,000 for plug-in hybrid. The District territory includes the northern and coastal regions of Sonoma County, including Healdsburg, Cloverdale, and Guerneville.
The Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Clean Fuels Rebate program offers an $800 rebate for owning or leasing an eligible plug-in electric vehicle. This offering is only available to PG&E customers with an active residential electricity account.
Peninsula Clean Energy has increased their used EV rebate! From now until September 30, 2022, income-qualifying residents of San Mateo County and the City of Los Banos can now receive up to $6,000 for the purchase of a qualifying used EV. All residents, regardless of income, remain eligible for a rebate of up to $1,000. Residents must apply prior to purchase to be eligible for the rebate.
Redding Electric Utility (REU) is offering a $1,000 account credit for the purchase or lease of a new qualified electric vehicle (up to 2). The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Drive Clean Rebate offers a rebate to local residents and businesses for purchasing EVs. The rebate is up to $3,000 for zero emission vehicles and up to $2,000 for plug-in hybrids. The local rebate can also be combined with state and federal rebates.

CO Energy Office Fleet-ZERO 2024 Fall
The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) is offering funding to purchase and install L2 and DC fast chargers for public and private fleets through its Fleet-ZERO Grant Program. CEO will provide reimbursements for up $3000-$7000 per L2 charger and between $5000-$11,000 and $50,000-$74,000 per DC charger, depending on power level, number of ports, and applicant type, with a cap of 80% reimbursement of eligible project costs for standard applicants and 90% for qualifying equity applicants. Applications will be evaluated competitively and are due November 15, 2024.
GCEA EV Charger Rebate
Gunnison County Electric Association offers rebates for Level 2 EV charger installations at member owned properties. Customers may receive 50%, up to $1,250, for installed Level 2 chargers and must sign up for a time-of-use rate. Applications must be submitted within 90 days to qualify.
Xcel Energy EV Charger & Wiring Rebate
Colorado residential customers served by Xcel Energy may qualify for up to $2,300 in funding for the costs related to purchasing and installing a Level 2 EV charger. Eligible customers may receive up to $500 and income-qualified customers may receive up to $2,300 after enrolling in Xcel Energy’s Optimize Your Charge Program. Qualifying expenses include permitting, materials, installation and electrical work completed.
Mountain Parks Electric Inc. EV Charger Rebate
Mountain Parks Electric Incorporated residential electric customers may receive a rebate for 50%, up to $1000, of total project costs related to installing a Level 2 EV charger at their homes. Customers must enroll in a whole house time-of-use rate to qualify and submit all itemized invoices and documentation within 90 days of purchase and installation.
COREV Connect
CORE Electric Cooperative offers residential customers in their service territory the option to connect their ChargePoint HomeFlex EV Charger to the Co-op’s platform for a $15 annual credit. Customers aiming to install an EV home charger may participate in the COREV Charge program, allowing CORE to install and maintain a ChargePoint HomeFlex charger for a monthly subscription of $22/month. The COREV Charge Program allows customers to apply for a reimbursement up to $400 for any make-ready costs needed to support a Level 2 residential charger.

Denver Mobility Incentive Program
The Denver Mobility Incentive Program has over $5 million in funding for projects that reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) and/or improve mobility for Denverites and will be providing up to $100,000 in funding per project. Eligible applicants must be either a human service provider, nonprofit, business improvement district, registered neighborhood organization, transportation management association or any organization with an innovated idea and the applicant must have a connection to and input from the local community. LPEA Residential EV Charger & Rebates
La Plata Electric Association’s (LPEA) residential customers may receive a free ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger from LPEA and up to 50%, or $500, for the installation. Customers who do not take advantage LPEA providing a free L2 charger may purchase their own Level 2 EV charger and receive a rebate up to 50% of the combined cost of the charger and installation up to $250.
La Plata Electric Public or Commercial EV Charging Stations Rebates
La Plata Electric Association has rebates available for business and public use charging stations. Level 2 EV charging stations may receive up to 50%, not exceeding $2,000 per charging station. For DC Fast Charging installations, customers may receive between $3,000 to $7,000 per station. Business or commercial EV chargers not available for public use are only eligible for up to $500.
MVEA Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Rebate Program
Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA) allows members to collect a rebate on Level 2 and/or DC fast charging equipment. Customers may receive up to $1,000 per Level 2 charger and up to $7,500 for DC fast charging installations, with a limit of two rebates per customer, per year.
Poudre Valley REA EV Charger Rebates
Poudre Valley REA (PVREA) offers a rebate for public charging stations of 50% of the cost of the equipment or $1000, whichever is lesser. The charger must have the ability to record session data and must be available to PVREA upon request. Poudre Valley REA (PVREA) also offers a rebate for DCFC up to $7,000, as long as they are publicly accessible. Eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. San Luis Valley REC EV Charger Rebate 2024
San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative, partnering with Tri-State Distribution, offers incentives for customers installing both public or private EV chargers. Rebates for Level 2 installations range from $250 to $1,000 per charger. A range of $3,000 to $7,500 is available for DC fast charger installations, depending on power output.
San Miguel Power Association EV Equipment Rebate
San Miguel Power Association customers may apply for rebates for private or publicly accessible EV chargers within 90 days of installation. Customers are eligible for up to 50% cost match of the EV charger, with a specific limit based on use case. Application must be complete and an itemized receipt verifying purchase must be included. United Illuminating (CT) Make Ready Program
United Illuminating in Connecticut offers their Electric Vehicle (EV) Make-Ready Program, designed to assist business customers with installing EV charging stations. Customers may receive up to 100% reimbursement of costs for electrical improvements needed to support Level 2 charging. Applications for DC Fast Charging are currently not accepted. Additionally, up to 50% may be reimbursed for the installed EV charging stations. Qualifications may differ based on business type and use of charger.
United Illuminating CT Home EV Charging Program
The Connecticut Residential Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program is offered to United Illuminating (UI) residential customers who submit an application for a qualifying Level 2 Smart Charger and/or Wiring Upgrade Rebate(s), Vehicle Connection Enrollment Incentive, and/or Existing Charger Enrollment Incentive through December 31, 2025. Customers may receive up to $500 for a qualifying EV charger and a wiring upgrade rebate up to $500. Participation rebates may also be available and could reach $300/year.
Norwich Public Utilities EV Rebate Program
Norwich Public Utilities customers are eligible for a $3,000 rebate per port for purchasing a commercial use L2 EVSE for workplace charging or multifamily (4+ units) use. Customers are eligible for a $4,000 rebate per port for purchasing a commercial use L2 charger available to the general public at a commercial or public location.
Norwich Public Utilities EV Charging Equipment Rebate
Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) offers eligible residential electric customers up to a $1,000 rebate for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charger. NPU customers must submit a copy of both the proof of purchase and a Letter of Compliance from the city building department before December 31, 2024.
Eversource Rebates for Connecticut Home Charging
Eversource offers Connecticut residential customers three options, that may be combined, for Level 2 EV charger installations. Customers may receive a $500 for qualified Level 2 chargers or $100 for cars with telematics that are not eligible for the charger specific rebate. Customers may also receive a $500 rebate to assist with home electrical wiring costs. If claiming a rebate, customers will be enrolled into Eversource’s Managed Charging program.
Connecticut EV Incentive
- The CHEAPR Program offers immediate rebates for Connecticut residents who purchase or lease a new eligible EV or PHEV. Rebates for new eligible EVs are $4,250 and $2,250 for PHEVs.
- Norwich Public Utilities customers are eligible for up to a $1,500 rebate for the purchase or lease of a new or used EV or PHEV.
Duke Energy Off-Peak Charging Credit
Duke Energy offers a $10 monthly credit to residential customers who charge EVs during off-peak hours. Eligible customers must have a Level 2 EV charging station. Participation is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
JEA Home Charging Connection Rebate
Jacksonville Electric Authority is offering its residential customers a $300 rebate to cover home electrical upgrades needed to install a Level 2 EV charger. Customers may also participate in the EV Charging Rebate Program and earn $7 a month from JEA by scheduling their EV to charge during specific times.
Duke Energy Florida Commercial Charger Rebate Program
Duke Energy Florida offers rebates for a variety of customers who choose to install either Level 2, DC fast chargers, or both. Rebates range from $627 per Level 2 charger up to $35,600 for DC fast chargers, depending on the location the equipment is installed. Customers must be granted preapproval prior to purchasing equipment may not install more than 10 chargers per location.
Florida ChargeUP! Sarasota County
ChargeUP! Sarasota County is a program administered by the Sarasota County government to provide rebates to certain types of businesses, non-profits and local governments within Sarasota County for the installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. Non-profits or government organizations may qualify for incentives of 50% of the cost, up to $4,000. Businesses may qualify for incentives of 25% of the cost, up to $2,000.
JEA Electrification Rebates Program
Jacksonville Electric Association offers commercial customers rebates for the purchase or lease of electric vehicles (EVs) and EV charging stations. EVs and EV charging stations must be purchased and installed between October 1, 2019, and September 30, 2025. Customers may receive a minimum rebate of $1,000 per Level 2 charger or $5,200 per DC fast charger from JEA.
Florida EV Incentive
HOV Lane Access: For just $5 a year, Federal Inherently Low Emission Vehicle (ILEV) and hybrids may access HOV lanes with an HOV decal.
Gulf Power offers a $750 incentive to help plug-in electric vehicle drivers offset the cost to install appropriate plug-in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This program is limited to the first 1,000 participants and expires on December 31, 2018.
Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) offers rebates for new PEVs purchased or leased on or after September 18, 2014. Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) provides rebates of $200 to residential customers who purchase or lease an eligible new or preowned PEV. Applicants must apply within six months of the purchase or lease of the PEV.
Cobb EMC Commercial EV Grant Program
Cobb EMC’s EV Grant Program provides funding to businesses, property owners, multifamily unit owners and government agencies who are interested in installing electric vehicle charging stations at their place of business. The program grants $500 to $5,000 to recipients to assist with the cost of purchasing and installing EV supply equipment (EVSE). Grant funds are allocated until all funds are exhausted, and the grant amount will vary based on each application, with preference given to proposals that promote public access to EV charger(s) or that benefit the greatest number of EV users.
Cobb EMC’s EV Charger Incentive
Cobb EMC provides a $250 rebate for residential customers installing Level 2 EV chargers at their home. Customers may take advantage of the NiteFlex rate provided by Cobb EMC, allotting for approximately 400 kWh for free each month.
Sumter EMC Residential EV Charger Rebate
Residential members receiving electric service from Sumter EMC may be eligible to receive a rebate for installing a Level 2 EV charger at their home. A rebate of $250 is available after submission of an application with a copy of the paid installation and charger invoice.
Tri County Rebate for Level 2 (240V) Electric Vehicle Charger
Tri-County EMC is helping residential customers charge their EV by offering a $250 rebate on the purchase and installation of any NRTL certified Level 2 charger. Simply purchase the charger and have it installed and a credit of $250 will be applied to the member’s Tri-County EMC bill.
Georgia Power EV Charger Installation Rebate
Georgia Power offers first-time applicants up to $150 for installing a new Level 2 EV charger at their residence. Customers must apply prior to December 31, 2024 for chargers purchased and installed in the prior six months.
Georgia Power: EV Charger Plus Rebate
Georgia Power offers two tiers of incentives for customers based on the power rating of the EV chargers. The total rebate value will be determined based on the quantity and types of chargers being installed. The application process and requirements differ based on the tier chosen, and/or the number of chargers installed at the project location. Customers may opt to take advantage of the Georgia Power Make-Ready program, but may not participate in both programs for the same location.

Residential and commercial Sumter EMC members may be eligible to receive a rebate for installing an electric vehicle charger at their home or business. Commercial members may be eligible to receive a $500 rebate for installing a Level 2 or 3 Charger at their business. A maximum of 3 rebates per business will be awarded.

KIUC customers may also apply for Hawaii Energy’s Level 2 rebate.
Kauai Electric Residential EV Charger Rebate
Residential customers purchasing more than 300 kWh from Kaua’i Island Utility Cooperative may be eligible for a $500 rebate for new or retrofit installations. Customers may only claim one rebate per service address.
Hawaii Energy Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate
Hawai’i Energy, is providing up to $4,500 for each newly installed dual-port Level 2 EV networked charging station at eligible workplaces and multi-unit dwellings and up to $35,000 per networked DC Fast Charging stations. The program also provides rebates on retrofitted stations up to $3,000 per networked Level 2 dual port stations and up to $28,000 per networked DC Fast Charging stations. Rebates are available on a first-come first-served basis while funding lasts, or until June 30, 2025.

Free Public Parking: State law may exempt vehicles with an EV license plate from parking meter fees at state and county facilities.
HOV Lane Access: State law allows vehicles with an EV license plate to access HOV lanes.
Iowa City EV Charging for Apartments & Condominiums
Iowa City is offering a 50/50 match for apartment and condominium complex landlords, property manager, or authorized HOA representatives related to Level 2 EV charging installations. Eligible costs include equipment, labor and materials for charging stations and may be provided in amounts of up to $4,000. Customers may also receive an additional rebate of up to $1,500 if an electrical panel upgrade is required.

Residential customers receiving electric service from Maquoketa Valley Rural Electric Cooperative may receive a rebate of $500 for installation of a Level 2 EV charger. Customers may also qualify for an additional $200 if they have performed upgrade to their home to ensure it is EV-ready. Rebates are limited to one per household.
Pella Cooperative Go Electric! EV Charger Rebates
Pella Cooperative offers residential customers a rebate of 50%, up to $500, for their purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charger. Rebates are available for 2024 through their Go Electric! EV Charger Rebate Program.

Cedar Falls Utilities (CFU) offers cost-sharing rebates to help residential customers install Level 2 EV chargers at their home. Customers may enroll and participate in the Electric Vehicle Community program and receive a rebate of up to $50 per vehicle. Participation in the EV Charging Program may also provide customers a rebate up to $8 per month.
Eastern Iowa REC Residential Level 2 Charger Rebate
Eastern Iowa REC wants to provide customers with affordable electrical service. Part of this is by offering a rebate of 50% of the installed cost, up to $350, for a Level 2 EV charger.
Farmers Electric Residential Level 2 Charger Rebate
Farmers Electric Cooperative provides residential customers a rebate of 50% of the installed cost, up to $500. Customers are encouraged to apply through December 31, 2024.
T I P Rural Residential Rebates
T.I.P. Rural Cooperative will rebate 50% of the installed cost, up to $500, for Level 2 chargers. The primary charging location of the vehicle must be at the home address of the distribution cooperative member. Wiring rebates may also be available to offset the cost of Level II charger installation. Contractors may receive a $100 rebate on new, EV-ready homes.
Western Iowa Power Cooperative Energy Efficiency Program
Residential customers receiving electric service from Western Iowa Power Cooperative may be eligible for a rebate of 50%, up to $750, towards the cost of a Level 2 EV charger installation. Customers must take part in a load control program offered through the Cooperative.

Ameren Illinois Beneficial Electrification Line Extension Program
Ameren Illinois non-residential electric customers installing transportation electrification solutions for business or public use may be eligible to utilize Ameren Illinois’ EVCP Rider for associated costs. In addition to specific charging rates, Ameren Illinois offers customers installing a stand-alone service for EV charging a supplemental line extension allowance of $300/kW of connected EVSE load (kW). Additional funding up to $500/kW is available for customers located in an identified Equity Investment Eligible and/or Low-Income Community. Supplemental rebate funding may also be available for customer-side make ready costs, dependent on customer type. To qualify, work must be completed by an Ameren Illinois Electric Vehicle Partner.
ComEd: Business Make-Ready Rebate Program
ComEd’s Business Make-Ready Program offers rebates on make-ready infrastructure, whether located on the customer side or ComEd side of the meter for Level 2 chargers and DC fast chargers. Make-ready infrastructure includes costs required to make the site ready for EV charging on both sides of the ComEd meter. EV chargers, also known as EVSE, and mounting equipment/pedestals are not eligible for program rebates.
ComEd Residential Charger and Installation Rebate
The Residential Charger & Installation Program from ComEd offers rebates for the installation and purchase of Level 2 EV chargers that are “smart” (i.e. Wi-Fi enabled), ENERGY STAR® certified, and Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) certified to Residential ComEd Customers. Rebate amounts range from $2,500 to $3,750 for charger and installation costs. Charger installation must be completed before submission of a Program application.

Reading Municipal Light Department: Commercial EV Charging Station Rebate
Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) offers a rebate to non-residential customers installing an EV charger at their facility within the service territory. Customers may receive a 50% rebate, up to $1,500 per station (single or dual port). Rebates are limited to 15 charging stations per location, per year and customers must provide charging data to RMLD. Installations must be completed and supporting documentation received within 180 days of the final wiring inspection.
Town of Concord Commercial EV Charging Station Rebate
Concord Municipal Light Plants (CMLP) offers its commercial customers a rebate of up to $6,000 for the installation of a Level 2 EV charging station. Funding is available for both public facing and private use charging. Public charging stations may receive up to $3,000 for the charging equipment and up to $3,000 for the installation of the station. For private charging stations, customers may receive up to $2,250 for the equipment and up to $2,250 for the installation. Pre-approval is required and customers must receive an award letter prior to installation. Customers may stack CMLP’s incentive with state incentives related to the purchase and installation of Level 2 charging stations.
EV Ready2Charge Rebate Program
Unitil, through their EV Ready2Charge program, is offering business customers funding for installation of EV chargers up to $77,000 for Level 2 EV sites and/or up to $143,000 for DCFC EV sites. Funding may be applied towards electrical infrastructure upgrades and/or work needed to install charging equipment. There is limited funding available per product type installed, so customers are encouraged to inquire with Unitil prior to submitting a pre-approval application.
EV Ready2Charge Residential Rebate Program
Unitil, through their EV Ready2Charge program, is offering residential customers funding up to $700 for Level 2 EV residential charging installations. Funding may be applied towards electrical infrastructure upgrades and/or work needed to install charging equipment. Income-eligible residential customers may qualify for an increased rebate amount of $1,700 for costs associated with electrical upgrades and the cost of the EV charger.
National Grid (MA) Fleet EV Charging Program
National Grid Massachusetts Fleet programs work to support business customers as they move to electrify their light-duty and medium/heavy-duty vehicle fleets in a cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable manner. The program provides up to 100% funding of electrical infrastructure costs for all fleet customers, and additional rebates on charging station equipment costs for public fleets.
National Grid (MA) EV Home Charging Rebates
National Grid offers EV charging rebates for single-family homes and small multifamily homes of two to four families when installing a Level 2 EV charger. Eligible customers may receive a rebate for between $700 and $1,400, depending on residential rate and location of residence.
MassEVIP Multi-Unit Dwelling and Educational Campus Charging
The Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP) dedicates $14,000,000 of funding from the Climate Mitigation Trust (CMT) to reduce the cost of purchasing and installing Level 2 EV charging stations. Approximately $1M for Multi-Unit Dwelling & Educational Campus (MUDC) is allocated through the MassEVIP CMT funding and aims to provide 60% of eligible costs for purchasing and installing EV charging stations. Grant applications are submitted online and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted.
MassEVIP Public Access Charging
The Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP) dedicates $14,000,000 of funding from the Climate Mitigation Trust (CMT) to reduce the cost of purchasing and installing Level 2 EV charging stations. Rebates for Massachusetts Home Charging
Eversource offers residential customers a rebate to offset the cost of installing an EV charger at their residence. Installation costs may include electrical upgrades, both customer and utility side, along with the cost for connecting the Level 2 EV charger. All eligible customers may receive a rebate between $700 and $1,400. Additional savings may be available for customers who are on the low income discount rate, or who live in an environmental justice community. Applications must be submitted no later than March 31, 2025 and the cost of the charger is not eligible for a rebate.
Eversource Massachusetts EV Charging Program
Eversource Massachusetts is offering businesses up to 100% off the wiring to install EV chargers, as well as a rebate of 50-100% off the chargers themselves. Customers with public vehicle fleets may also qualify for fleet advisory services to help strategically transition fleets to electric.
National Grid (MA) Public & Workplace EV Charging Program
National Grid in Massachusetts (Massachusetts Electric Co.) is covering 100% of the utility side of the make-ready and 100% of the average cost of the customer side of the make-ready up to $6,000 for L2 and $60,000 for DCFC. Offering up to 100% of EVSE incentives based on EJ criteria based on income. Incentives for DCFC in EJ communities is $40,000 per port for 50-150kW output and $80,000 for >150kW output. National Grid (MA) Multi-Unit Dwelling EV Charging Program
National Grid in Massachusetts administers their Multi-Unit Dwelling (MUD) EV Charging Program to help property owners and developers install EV charging stations at properties with 5 or more units. The program may provide up to 100% funding of the electrical infrastructure costs and additional rebates on charging station equipment costs. Customers with more than 20 units may also be eligible to participate in the MUD EV-Ready Site plan assessment.
Massachusetts EV Incentive
Green Energy Consumers Alliance Drive Green program provides discounts on qualified PEVs purchased or leased from participating dealerships. The discount program is available to all consumers, including those that are not in Mass Energy’s service territory.
The MOR-EV program supports the purchase of qualifying battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and commercial vehicles up to a $50,000 final purchase price with a $2,500 rebate and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVS) with an all-electric range of 25 miles or greater with a final purchase price up to $50,000 are eligible for a $1,500 rebate. The program will last through at least December 31, 2021.
The MOR-EV Trucks program provides commercial fleets with rebates of $7,500-$15,000 for class 2b-3 zero-emission trucks, as well as vouchers between $30,000-$90,000 for class 4-8 zero-emission trucks. Scrappage is not a requirement under MOR-EV Trucks. Incentive amounts will decline by 15% once an incentive “block” is filled. BGE: Fleet Make Ready & Charging Rebate
BGE offers commercial customers a rebate for 50% of the purchase and installation cost of eligible L2 EV charging stations, up to $5,000 per port, and 50% of the purchase and installation cost of eligible DCFC stations, up to $15,000 per port. Rebate awards may not exceed $30,000 per site. Eligible commercial customers include multifamily properties, homeowner’s associations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and commercial fleets. A total of 700 rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Delmarva Power & Light: Fleet Program
Qualifying applicants can take advantage of incentives to upgrade the electrical infrastructure necessary to install EV charging stations. Delmarva Power can cover 90% of the cost—up to a maximum of $15,000. Qualifying Fleet customers served by Pepco can take advantage of incentives to upgrade the electrical infrastructure necessary to install EV charging stations. Pepco can cover 90% of the cost—up to a maximum of $15,000. Maryland Energy Administration EVSE Rebate Program for Residential Customers
The Maryland Energy Administration released funding for their FY25 EV Supply Equipment Rebate Program, which offers rebates to Marylanders to expand the state’s electric vehicle charging network. Total funding available through the program is $1.5M. Residential rebates cover up to 50% up to $700 for cost of an EV charger and installation costs for one charger per home. Homeowners, renters, and multifamily residents that purchase an EVSE for their personal use are eligible to submit a residential application. Only one rebate per individual resident. Taxes, shipping costs, and credit card payment convenience fees are ineligible expenses. Funding is Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available to complete and eligible applications. All funding must be expended by April 1, 2025.
MEA FY25 EVSE Rebate Program
The Maryland Energy Administration released funding for their FY25 EV Supply Equipment Rebate Program, which offers commercial EVSE charger rebates to Marylanders to expand the state’s electric vehicle charging network. Total funding available through the program is $1M. Commercial rebates cover up to 50% up to $5,000 for cost of a Level 2 EV charger and installation costs for charger. Eligible costs include site design, charger equipment, installation, labor, permitting, site preparation, upgrade for utility connections, signage, and equipment necessary to implement and operate the EVSE. Assure, taxes, shipping costs, and credit card payment convenience fees are ineligible expenses. Dual port chargers are considered a single unit by MEA. Maximum award per applicant is $125,000. Eligible applicants include businesses, LLCs, and incorporated non-profits registered and in good standing with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) as well as state and local government entities. Chargers must be located in non-residential places of business – MUDs are eligible if chargers are open to the public. Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available to complete and eligible applications. All funding must be expended by April 1, 2025. This is a reimbursement program, and rebate recipients must provide their own funding to cover expenses as they are incurred. Applications may be submitted within six (6) months of when an EVSE has been acquired, installed, put in operation, and paid in full. EVSE must be installed by a Maryland-licensed, professional electrical contractor. The Maryland rebate can be bundled with the federal tax rebate as well as any utility time of use rates.
BGE Commercial Customer Charger Rebate
The Baltimore Gas & Electric Co (BGE) Commercial Customer Charger Rebate dedicates funding to reduce the cost of purchasing and installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Applications for Level 2 and DC fast chargers will be competitively selected and awarded on a first-come, first served basis.
